2025 into 2026 ~ Part 2: Check Back Often

pressDaytonDaily2026

It took a little while to figure out how to end the radio silence. But now that the first snow pile-up of 2026 is behind us, I'm excited to let you know that a recent article published in Dayton Daily News is helping us ease into 2026 in a rather unexpected way. A HUGE THANKS goes out to Hannah Kasper for the unexpected coverage. Thanks for tagging us on Instagram. It feels amazing to have an image of our current exhibition pictured within an article discussing the importance of artist-run spaces, here in Cincinnati!

As 2026 continues on, we're looking forward to sharing a few stories from our last ten years as a nonprofit, especially some of the milestones that led us to opening (and growing into) one of the region's largest art & education facilities.

For now though, we hope your calendars are already marked for the artist talk and closing reception we're hosting on Saturday February 21st. Beyond that, I'd like to ask that you Check Back Often. If you're not already signed up, click this part of the sentence to join our distribution list.

In 2026, we'll still be settling into to our Studeō facility. But wow. What a privilege it is to be able to own & operate a facility large enough to support so many creative paths. In 2026, we'll still be settling into our growing education program with Juniors and Seniors of CPS. But I have to say, while it's a strong amount of work, it's an honor to work so closely with our youth to produce large scale projects to pursue long term results.

Most importantly though if all goes well, in 2026 we'll be re-opening HQ, our original lumber yard that came with the lumber drying facility we operated out of while refining our ideas. To say the least, this is a HUGE year for the little engine that is. And if you know us, marketing isn't our strongest suit — we make things — so please, don't forget to check back often. We're looking forward to welcoming you to the excitement.

And to Ms. Hannah Kasper, "Thanks again!" for the coverage.
