In a few short weeks we'd like to welcome you back to our campus as we ring in the holiday with our 3rd annual Juneteenth Eve celebration. That's right... Your eyes are not playing tricks on you. Thanks to the brilliant minds of our good friends at Mz. Icar, we've made it a PAR-Projects tradition to celebrate the day before ...to usher-in, or make way for the official Juneteenth holiday. And to our knowledge, we're the only ones doing the Juneteenth Eve thing!
Still, Juneteeth Eve is more than good food and good music by DJ Pillo. For us, we always plan a opening or closing art reception in conjunction with the event because we will forever need more ways to celebrate the artwork and artists that we bring together on an annual basis.
This year is no different as we would like to invite to help us celebrate the artwork of SLiNK Love and Sarah Rodriguez as we say fair well to their exhibition — Materials Reclaimed.
